The Joy of Giving Tree 2016

Specsavers Sutton and Idlewells Shopping Centre have teamed up again to launch this year's giving tree appeal - this time for the St Mary's Church Foodbank.

Throughout December Idlewells visitors are invited to pick up a pre-printed gift tag from its Christmas Tree - found opposite Bon Marché - and take it, with an unwrapped gift, into Specsavers.  The Sutton optician staff will be collecting donated gifts up until close of play on Wednesday 21st December, then wrapping them all up and taking them to the Ashfield Foodbank at St Mary's Church.

Donations of gifts are requested from as many visitors as possible, to make a bumper handover in time for Christmas. Gifts that are suitable for male or female are requested, such as sweets, chocolates, books, DVDs or CDs.

Last year, Specsavers - well known for its excellent support of local charities - delivered 40 wrapped gifts to John Eastwood Hospice, and hopes to equal or exceed this total for Ashfield's Foodbank in 2016.

If anyone would like to donate, please take your gift unwrapped, directly to a member of the Specsavers team.
