Meet friendly animals with our petting zoo, embrace fun and friendly competition with our ‘games day’, win prizes by guessing the number of eggs in the jar and helping us find the missing bunnies around the centre.
All our Easter events are family friendly and completely free to attend, so there is plenty to do to keep the kids entertained throughout the school holidays.
Petting Zoo
Thursday 10th April: 9.30am – 3.00pm
Hosted by the fantastic team from White Post Farm, this is your opportunity to meet, hold and get photos with a range of small fluffy animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs, a selection or reptiles and minibeasts. The full list of animals will be revealed closer to the time.
No booking is required, however as it is first come first served, we do recommend coming out of peak hours to avoid queueing. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when in the petting zoo.
Guess the Number of Eggs
Monday 7th to Friday 18th April
Want to win a selection of Easter chocolates? Guess how many eggs are in our giant Easter Egg and the prize is yours!
Is it 12? Is it 500? What is your best guess? Simply write your answer on the paper provided, post it into the box, and you are in the draw!
Our guess the number of eggs competition will run from Monday 7th to Friday 18th April.
Find the Missing Bunnies
Monday 7th to Friday 18th April
10 bunnies have escaped from the local farm and are hiding in the Idlewells, and we need your help to find them!
Each day, a hint to the location of one of the bunnies will be shared on our Facebook page. Comment on the post which store or cafe you think the bunny is hiding in and, if correct, you will be entered into a prize draw at the end of the week for an Easter Egg.
And remember, there is no limit to the amount of entries to the prize draw, so make sure you comment every day to make sure you have the best chance of winning.

Games Day
Thursday 17th April: 10am-2pm
Prepare for board games like you have never seen them before, this time they’re giant! Have fun, learn some new games and get the competitive juices flowing with a day of games and activities from Snakes and Ladders to Connect Four, and a whole host more!
Easter Themed Craft Club
Saturday 11th and Saturday 19th April: 1pm-4pm
During the Easter Holidays, the Idlewells Craft Clubs are both Easter themed!
Meet new friends, unleash your creativity and have fun, rain or shine, with our weekly themed craft clubs. Perfect for preschool to teens, these sessions are completely free and provide all the equipment – you just need to bring adult supervision!
